The Axelrod Firm has been certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to be a woman-owned business, making it a state certified minority-owned business. Its owner, Sheryl Axelrod, who previously worked at the prestigious law firm Blank Rome, LLP, has been recognized by as a "Super Lawyer" for the past three years in a row. She is President of the Temple Law Alumni Association (TLAA), its 4th female president in its over 95 year history. Also, the Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association appointed her to the Investigative Division of the Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention which ensures that the public is well informed about those running to be judges.
The Axelrod Firm is dedicated to philanthropy and community service. In addition to her volunteer positions on TLAA and the Bar Association, Sheryl Axelrod spent 4 years coaching high school mock trial teams and in 2009, was awarded the Temple Law Alumni Association's Distinguished Service Award. Each year starting 2010, The Axelrod Firm has donated $1,000 each to Temple Law School and The Salvation Army.
Our woman-owned law firm is also dedicated to diversity.
